In this course, Global Development Studies concentrators and students interested in international affairs meet weekly to discuss a recently published book on a specific global issue. This course is the capstone requirement for Global Development Studies concentrators and offers an opportunity for other students to engage with current thinking on urgent global challenges. Students have the opportunity to complete independent or internship-based research and write a final reflection essay on the assigned reading.
